Archmere Women’s Leadership Club Welcomes Alumna Marisa Facciolo ’93

Marisa shared her professional journey with students, offering insight into the experiences and skills that have shaped her career. She spoke in particular about the importance of self-advocacy and reflected on how her Archmere experience helped prepare her to confidently advocate for herself throughout her professional life.

She also shared a meaningful example of the power of the Archmere alumni network: after graduating, Faciolo secured her first job as a paralegal through an Archmere connection. Her story offered students a firsthand look at how the relationships formed at Archmere can continue to provide support and opportunities long after graduation.

Led by Annika Ji ’28, Emily McLaughlin ’28, and Sophia Silverman ’28 and moderated by Dr. Stephanie Silverman ’00, the Archmere Women’s Leadership Club is a student-founded and student-led organization dedicated to empowering young women to become confident leaders and successful professionals.

As part of its “Passion into Profits” series, the club welcomes female professionals and successful Archmere alumnae to share their experiences, offer career advice, and discuss how they have developed their leadership skills and built their careers. Conversations focus on topics such as self-advocacy, team building, leadership, and navigating the workplace, including fields where women have historically been underrepresented.

Beyond professional development, the Women’s Leadership Club strives to create a supportive community where Archmere students can build friendships, explore their interests, share ideas, and encourage one another.

Marisa's visit gave students the opportunity to learn directly from an Archmere alumna while seeing the lasting impact of the skills, relationships, and community they are building during their time at the Academy.
