Archmere Alum and Architect Sean Goodrick ’97 Shares Professional Insight with Architectural Design Students
Archmere’s Architectural Design students recently welcomed a special guest to the classroom: alumnus and Board member Sean Goodrick ’97, who returned to campus as a guest lecturer and project critic.
A professional architect, Sean shared an engaging overview of his career and offered students insight into the field of architecture, including the path to professional licensure, industry certifications and accreditation requirements for undergraduate architecture programs.
Students also had the opportunity to receive individual critiques and professional feedback on their work. Sean reviewed their architectural models and site-specific residential design concepts, offering suggestions and perspectives drawn from his experience in the profession.
The visit gave students a valuable opportunity to connect classroom learning with professional practice while gaining a better understanding of the education, preparation and creativity involved in pursuing a career in architecture.
Archmere is grateful to Sean for sharing his time and expertise with our students and for continuing to support the school community as an alumnus and Board member.
