Kathy Rosini Ferro '95 Visits Junior Portfolio Fashion Students
Kathy Rosini Ferro '95 provided individual critiques and guidance in fashion design and construction. Kathy is an Archmere alum, married to her classmate John Ferro '95, and current Archmere parent (Dylan & Tyler). She shared her expertise and background in fashion design and construction with student who are currently in the final phase of their found object apparel design creations. She also spoke to Giancarlo Flaherty '26 and Emily Juarez '26, both attending the Fashion Institute of Technology next fall, about pathways in the fashion industry including styling and merchandising.
Daniel Qi '26 Wins Congressional Art Award
The Congressional Art Awards is a nationwide high school visual art competition that recognizes and encourages artistic talent in the nation and each congressional district. On Monday April 13th, the Delaware Contemporary hosted Delaware's Congressional Art Awards reception. From the twenty student finalists from across the state, a blind jury selected a winning artwork. Archmere senior Daniel Qi was awarded first place and his artwork will go on to be displayed at the United States Capitol Building for one year. Daniel's piece "The Soloist" blends his passion for music and visual arts to portray a vibrant scene. Congratulations to Daniel!
