Archmere Students Volunteer at Faith Victory Christian Center

This summer, several Archmere students helped to fill and give bags of groceries to families in need, disabled veterans and seniors for the Faith Victory Christian Center in Claymont, Delaware. Faith Victory Christian Center's "On Your Way Back With A New Pack" is a community outreach project that fosters creativity and empowers today's learners and tomorrow's leaders by providing FREE backpacks and school supplies to children living in at-risk communities of Claymont and Wilmington, DE. The backpacks were given out in August at the Backpack Fest.

Faith Victory Christian Center is always in need of volunteers for different events throughout the year.  If students are interested in giving their time they can contact Kyla McAvinue, Riley DeBaecke, Matt McDougal, or Riley McAvinue, who are the student ambassadors for Faith Victory Christian Center.
