Archmere Students Donate to Local Charities For Thanksgiving
This month, Archmere students donated to several local charities and organizations. On Friday, November 16th, the school held a Thanksgiving Food Drive Tag Day and several members of the Archmere Community Service Club dropped off donations to the Claymont Community Center. In addition to all the non-perishables collected for the Claymont Community Center, the students filled boxes with all of the fixings for a Thanksgiving meal for ten families in the nearby Knollwood community. Students, faculty, and staff also raised money to purchase turkeys for these families and additional supermarket gift cards from Food Lion.
