Jack Maister ’24 Signs Letter of Intent to Run at Lehigh University

Jack Maister, senior at Archmere Academy, signed a letter of intent to join Lehigh University’s track and field team on November 8, 2023. Lehigh University is a Division I athletic program in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Jack has been a varsity starter and standout athlete from the moment he joined the Archmere track and field team.
Jack began his Archmere running career as a sophomore, and immediately saw success. He is a three-time conference champion and has the DSAC record for Long Jump. In his sophomore year, he finished third at the state meet in the Long Jump and helped his relay place fourth in the 4x200. During his junior indoor track season, Jack placed fourth in the Long Jump, and qualified for Nike Nationals where he placed fifteenth. In the outdoor season, he was named the New Castle County Champion for Long Jump, and placed second at the DIAA State Championship meet. Jack holds two school records in the 4x100 and 4x200, and is currently “Second All -Time” for Archmere in the 55m Dash, Long Jump, and High Jump. 
 
Off the track, Jack is an outstanding student. He is a member of the National Honors Society, Spanish National Honors Society, and Science National Honors Society. Jack is a four-year member of the nationally recognized Archmere Mastersingers, sings in the Liturgical Ensemble, and has held a primary role in the musical every year. A graduate of Saint Edmond's Academy, Jack plans to study Economics at Lehigh University.
