One Hundred and Thirty-Six Archmere Academy Students Earn AP Scholar Awards

Archmere Academy is proud to announce that 136 students have been recognized by the College Board with Advanced Placement (AP) Scholar Awards for their outstanding performance on AP Exams.

The College Board's AP Scholar Awards recognize students who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in college-level coursework through the Advanced Placement Program. This year, Archmere students earned recognition across multiple award categories, reflecting the Academy's commitment to academic excellence and college readiness.
AP Scholar with Distinction

The AP Scholar with Distinction Award recognizes students who earned an average score of at least 3.5
on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more AP Exams. Sixty-seven Archmere
students received this prestigious recognition.

AP Capstone Diploma
Nine members of the Class of 2026 earned the AP Capstone Diploma, awarded to students who received
scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar and AP Research, along with qualifying scores on four additional AP
Exams.

Megan Shaposky, Lucy Weinig, and Kellyn Williams.

AP Seminar and Research Certificate
Three members of the Class of 2026 earned the AP Seminar and Research Certificate by receiving
scores of 3 or higher in both AP Seminar and AP Research.

Recipients: Isabella Alba, Joshua Cox, and Michael Jang.

This year's award recipients include 56 sophomores and juniors- 43 students from the Class of 2027 and
13 students from the Class of 2028 - who have the opportunity to continue taking AP courses and
potentially earn higher levels of AP Scholar recognition before graduation.
