Ann Marie Mancuso Gerhart '97 and her husband Lee Gerhart welcomed their second child, Luca Joseph, born May 24, 2016. Luca was 6 pounds, 10 ounces and 21 inches. Simon Jackson '94
and his wife Stacia welcomed their first child, Lachlan Brody Sweeting Jackson, born on September 29, 2016. Lachlan was 8 pounds, 14 ounces. Simon is a Senior Director for CCS Fundraising, a global strategic fundraising consulting firm; he is currently serving as interim Vice President for Howard University. Simon and his family live in Washington, DC.

Kara A. Briggs '94
has joined the staff of the Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs’ State Historic Preservation Office in Dover as an Architectural Historian.  Her responsibilities include conducting cultural-resource reviews of federally funded or permitted projects for Section 106 compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act for historical and architectural properties; providing coordination services with state designated certified local governments; and oversight of division-held historic-preservation easements including monitoring and enforcement of easement provisions, technical assistance to property owners and negotiation and completion of new easements. She continues in her love of the arts by creating works on paper as well as acrylic on canvas. She recently had a painting accepted into the National Arts Program Competition.

Meghan Lee '97
is the proud recipient of Delaware Today’s 2016 Best of Delaware Award. Meghan restored an old Victorian home on the main drag of Lewes and converted it into a restaurant, Heirloom, which opened in December 2015. It has now been named The Best New Restaurant, Downstate.

Amelia Julian Wyant '94
was recently elected to the 2015-16 Board of Trustees for The Independence School. The mother of three children, Mrs. Wyant currently serves as President of Eastern States Group, a Wilmington-based residential and commercial real estate company.

and his wife Amanda welcomed their third child, Parker Ross, born on May 5, 2015. Parker was 8 pounds, 1 ounce and 21 inches. Parker was baptized on October 17, 2015 at Saint Joseph Church, Baltimore. Parker has two older sisters- Rory, 6 and Liv, 3. Joe is a senior account manager for Kelly Associates Insurance Group in Baltimore; he and his family live in Parkville, MD.

Jonathan Pieslak '92
, an Associate Professor at The City College of New York and Graduate Center, CUNY, published his second book, Radicalism and Music, with Wesleyan University Press. The book surveys the diverse musical cultures of al-Qa'ida, the racist skinheads, Christian-affiliated radicalism, and eco-animal rights militancy, with research supported by a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2011. The introduction can be read on Jonathan's website, www.jonathanpieslak.com. Presently, Jonathan is part of a team exploring the mobilizing influence of media in the jihadi-Salafist movement. A Minerva Grant from the Department of Defense funds this research.

Ryan Barbacane '99
and his wife, Courtney, welcomed the birth of Sienna Marie on February 13, 2015. She joins her big sister, Aubrey, who turned five on August 23rd. and his wife, Tracey, marked the first birthday of their son, Charles Emmett, born in Guam on July 14, 2014. Both Mary Kate and Bobby's fathers, John Chrzanowski and Bob Mieczkowski, are members of the Class of 1971. Lauren Chrzanowski Edgar '02 was Matron of Honor and Therese Winnington '98 was a bridesmaid. Mary Kate currently works at Sallie Mae as a Talent Acquisition Consultant in Human Resources. She and Bobby reside in Wilmington, DE and look forward to starting a family together.

earned her Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University, and is enjoying living in London with her two sons Zander and Nathaniel and her husband Bryan.

John David DeVido '94 lives in Churchville, MD, with wife Maureen and children Thomas (6) and Lizzy (4). He is currently the team leader for system engineering at Aberdeen Proving Grounds.

Jeffrey DeVido '96 lives with his wife, Catherine, in San Rafael, CA, along with their children: Jason (5), Netty (2), and Vivienne (1). Kristin Gallagher Chambers '99 and her husband James recently celebrated their boys' 2nd birthday and baptism at St. Thomas the Apostle.  Henry Gallagher '04 was in attendance as the proud godfather of both boys. The family lives in Wilmington, DE where Kristin works at Bank of America.

Michael Iorii '90 has left his position as Associate Director of major construction projects at Columbia University to join The Metropolitan Museum of Art as General Manager for Construction. Michael is responsible for planning and executing all capital construction projects undertaken at the Museum and supervising the activity of the in-house construction project managers. Michael and his wife, Juliet, live in Ridgewood, NJ with their daughters, Isabella and Sophia.

Thomas Raymond '97 has authored several columns and reports on investment topics but his most recent accomplishment is his book titled The Eloquent Investor: Facts, Quotations, and Useful Sayings About Wall Street.  Thomas has an undergraduate dregree from Penn State, University Park campus, along with graduate degrees from Drexel and Villanova.

Christopher Butler '93 and his wife Christine welcomed their son Thomas Christopher Butler on October 1st, 2013. Chris, Christine and Thomas live in Shanghai, China where Chris is the VP/GM for Eaton's Circuit Protection and Controls Division in Asia Pacific.

Bianca Fraser-Johnson'98 was recently recognized as the winner of the 73rd Annual Outstanding Young Wilmingtonian award by the Wilmington Jaycees. The award honors a person who exemplifies all the Jaycees strive to be; a leader who goes above and beyond when giving back to their community. Having won this prestigious award, Bianca was nominated for national recognition through TOYA (Ten Outstanding Young Americans).  Bianca is the 2014 recipient due to her overwhelming support through her whole life to organizations like Leadership Delaware (Board Member), Delaware Youth Leadership Network (Co-founder and Board Member), Delaware MS Society (top fundraiser of over $700,000 Dollars and former 10 year Board Member), LEAD for Women at Bank of America (Executive Council Member), she is also responsible for launching the Delaware arm of the BAC Community Volunteers program in 2006. She is currently a Senior Vice President with Bank of America.

Katie Collins '98 graduated as the Valedictorian from Fairfield University where she recently received her MBA in May 2014. Katie has also recently taken on a new role leading a marketing team with Pfizer in NYC.

Michael Burns '95 and his wife, Jill, are proud to announce the birth of their second daughter, Maggie Ellasyn Burns (born May 19, 2013). Mike is a patent attorney at DLA Piper LLP (US) in Philadelphia. Jill is also an attorney in Philadelphia.

Natalie Gadea Lewis '95 recently wrote a children's book called Everything Takes Practice. Signed copies are available for purchase in the Richmond-area at Tweed, The University of Richmond Bookstore, The Richmond Flying Squirrels Team Store, Disco Sports, Richmond Baseball Academy West, and Tiny Toes Children's Boutique in Bel Air, MD. The book is for boys & girls ages 4 - 8 yrs. old and is a baseball-themed story about staying positive and not giving up.

Christopher Boone '93  is a screenwriter and filmmaker living in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He contributes to the blog No Film School (nofilmschool.com), where he shares lessons learned from professional screenwriters about the craft and business of screenwriting. After his 2008 Duke City Shootout short film PRESCHOOL’S A BITCH won the Audience Award and screened at festivals around the country, Christopher joined the board of the Digital Filmmaking Institute (DFI) to help organize the tenth anniversary and final edition of the Duke City Shootout in 2010. Recently, Christopher was a panel moderator at the Austin Film Festival & Conference. Along with his producing partner Ella Sitkin, Christopher is currently putting together his first feature film as writer/director, CENTS, from his 2012 Academy Nicholl Fellowship semifinalist screenplay. Carl Deirmengian, M.D.'92 is an orthopedic surgeon with the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia. He was recently interviewed by AARP Magazine regarding knee replacement surgery. 

Brian Lee '94 married Holly Wolfe on June 15, 2013 in Kennett Square, PA. The couple live in the borough of Kennett Square. Many Archmere friends and classmates were in attendance. Brian is the son of Ron '61 and Rita (Archmere School Nurse 1995-2013), and brother of Michael '89 and Meghan '97.

Jeffrey Devido '96 and wife Catherine welcomed daughter Annette Violet on June 10th 2013. Annette joins older brother Jason Jasper (3). After completing both psychiatry residency and addiction psychiatry fellowship at Massachusetts General and McLean Hospitals, Jeffrey has taken a faculty position at the University of California, San Francisco. Catherine completed residency and fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at Tufts and is working at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland.

Angela Chien '95 has been working for Google for the past five years and has spent the last two years in Google [x], an experimental research group. Angela served as lead counsel for Google Glass and two other early stage projects. Angela and her boyfriend recently bought a house. They travel in their free time alternating between visiting friends in Europe and diving in Asia.

Kenny is a member of the 2009 Nativity Class and will be attending DeSales University studying political science.

Crista Carrick Mahoney '98 and her husband, Michael, welcomed their daughter Anna into the world on July 11, 2011, three weeks after moving from downtown Boston to Sherborn, MA. Crista is also the Campus Minister for Education and Social Justice at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA.

Paul Badame, Esq. '91 opened his own law practice Rubin and Badame PC. They specialize in social security disability law and family law. His office is located in Norristown, PA.

James Wright '93 recently moved back to Delaware and currently works for DuPont Crop Protection as an associate investigator in the process chemistry department.

Kimberly Bolton Trincia '94 was selected as one of the national Top Women in Grocery for 2013 by Progressive Grocer magazine. A graduate of the University of Delaware, Kim currently manages the first green ACME store in Concordville, PA.

Dan Hodapp '99 is performing in a short comedy PARENT INTERVIEW by Justin Warner '89. The comedy  is competing in the final round of the NYC 15-Minute Play Competition. Over 300 short plays were submitted; 35 were selected for the semi-finals, and 10 advanced to the finals. The play will be performed in Series A on Friday, May 3 at 7 pm and Saturday, May 4 at 5 pm, at the American Globe Theatre in New York, NY, (145 W. 46th Street, 3rd floor) Tickets are $18 and are available online or via phone reservations at 212-869-9809. (Phone reservations pay cash at the door and must arrive 10 minutes before curtain to guarantee seating.)

Michael W. Phillips '97, has a new son named Matthew born August 23, 2012.

Richard H. Rigney '92 has passed the Pennsylvania State Insurance Exam and is now a Pennsylvania State Licensed Insurance Agent. He has signed on with AFLAC Lehigh Valley Regional Office as an Independent Sales Agent and currently resides in Zionsville, PA with his fiancee and son.

Alison Paige Newitt '95 was recently named one of Philly’s rising top fiive female musical stars by CBS Philadelphia.  “Aly”, bassist and vocalist for AlyCat, has performed throughout the country with Alycat, David Bromberg, the Angel Band and BrotherSister. Her band, AlyCat, is a funk-rock-electro band that began performing in Philadelphia in 2011. The band’s first full-length CD release, “Cat Lady,” will be released on April 25th with a performance at the Blockley in Philadelphia. Jennifer Rodzvilla ’97 married Scott Brion ’96 in a ceremony at St. Agnes Church in West Chester. Their reception was held at The Patio. Kate Brion ’95, John Rodzvilla ’93, and Kevin Donohoe ’95 were all members of the wedding party. Fellow alumni Dominic Pileggi ’72, Brian Nagle ’93, and Gretchen Nagle ‘95 were also in attendance. Biana Shorteno Fraser-Johnson '98 is currently a senior vice president at Bank of America in Associate Banking and Investments. She is a board member of Leadership Delaware and the Delaware MS Society and recently co-founded a new 501c3 - The "Delaware Youth Leadership Network" (dlyn.net). She lives in Hockessin with her husband, Michael,their three-year old son, Fraser, and are welcoming their next baby in January.

Brendan Reeves '94 and his wife, Allison, welcomed a son, Simon Learey Reeves on January 21, 2012. Simon joins his big sister Veronica. They all happily reside in Seattle and recently enjoyed a visit by Uncle Brian Reeves '91 and his wife Sarah who currently reside in Redondo Beach, CA.

Laura Mielcarek DeRose '93 is pleased to announce the birth of their son, R. James DeRose IV on January 26, 2012. RJ joins big sisters Adelia (8) and Kay (4).

May 2012

Megan McNichol, 98 is living in Los Angeles and working as the Assistant to Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios. Marvel Studios recently shattered box office records with the release of "The Avengers" as the largest box office opening weekend in history. Megan has been living on the West Coast for several years and previously worked on films such as Secretariat, Tooth Fairy, the Game Plan, Invincible, and the Village. 

Ryan Stidham, M.D. '97
is traveling the world speaking as a gastrointestinal physician specializing in Chron's Disease. Dr. Stidham recently completed his fellowship at the University of Michigan. Following his Archmere graduation, Ryan attended Saint Joe's University for undergraduate studies, the University of Virginia for medical shool, and completed his residency at Penn.

Melissa Carrick '92 married Zeke Phillips in July 2010 at St. Edmond's in Rehoboth Beach. She is a practicing chiropractic in Baltimore.

Maggie Arvedlund '97 married Adam Cassidy in a ceremony at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Erin Arvedlund Beattie '88 was the Matron of Honor and Jessica Curley Hankinson '97 was a bridesmaid. A few alums including Tom Raymond, Kristin Chambers and other Archmere families were in attendance. Adam and Maggie currently reside in New York. (see picture to the left)

February 2012

Carrie (Malone) Bosacco '94 and David Bosacco '92 welcomed twin boys (pictured to the left) on December 19, 2011. Enzo Theron weighed 4 lbs 13 oz and was 18.5 in long. Carlo Eustatius weighed 6 lbs 3 oz and was 18 in long. The twins join older sister Isadora Luca. The Bosacco family resides at the Jersey Shore.

Michael Coleman '92 lives in Tallahassee, Florida. He has his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and was promoted to an associate applied research position at Florida State University. He is the father of a 13-year old daughter, and recently celebrated his father's 70th birthday with a family cruise to Alaska last June.

Stephanie Taylor '93 and her husband, Mark Ervin, welcomed a daughter, Helena Rose, on April 6, 2011.

December 2011

Barbara Smoyer '92 was married on November 5, 2011, to Michael D. Peterson. The wedding was held at the historic St. Mary of Victories Church in Downtown St. Louis, Missouri. Janet Smoyer '94 was a bridesmaid, and Marialaina Scafidi '92 caught the bride's bouquet. After honeymooning in Cancun, Mexico, Barbara and Michael now live in St. Peters, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis.

Christine Manubay Gardiner '91 welcomed son Logan Samuel Gardiner on December 16, 2011. He joins big brother Kyle (5 years old.)

Michele Irwin Cunningham '97
and her husband, Brian, welcomed son Brendan Irwin to their family on July 28, 2011. He joins older brother, Quinn Clark (birthday March 23, 2009) in their home in Philadelphia, PA.

Robert Yacyshyn '97 married Molly Baran on May 7, 2011, in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Fr. McLaughlin presided over the wedding ceremony and several Archmereans were in attendance (pictured to the left). On June 17, 2011, along with his co-workers, Rob won a Daytime Emmy Award for the MTV series “MADE” in the Special Class Series category (pictured to the left.)

Damian Andrisani, M.D. '91 is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, knees and shoulders. He practices in Wilmington, DE with Delaware Orthopaedic Specialties.

Chris Killian '95 and his wife, Anne, welcomed son Benjamin to their family in June, 2011. He joins older sister, Ava, in their home in Cronton on Hudson, NJ.

was published in Delaware Today as a 2011 Five Star Real Estate Agent for the second year in a row for exceptional service and overall satisfaction.

Matthew T. Kingston, DMD '92 and his wife Claire welcome their third son, Luke Thomas. Born on November 7, 2011. Luke was 11 lbs 4 oz and 23 inches! Dr. Kingston and his wife have two other sons, Gray (age 7) and Adam (age 4). Matthew and his family reside in Lititz, PA.

October 2011

Christopher Rowe '99 is living in Boston, MA, enjoying a successful career in product design. He spends his free time sailing, skiing and brewing beer.

Zachary Rowe '99 is living in Madrid, Spain. He met his wife, Paula, during a vacation in Spain in 2008. They were married in July, 2010 in Northern Spain. Zach has been teaching English and just completed work on his Master's degree in Environmental Biology.

William Mannella '93 is now living at Incline Village, NV on Lake Tahoe.

Josh M. Alcorn '99
was married to Brianna D'Amico on Saturday, October 8 at St. Thomas Villanova Church. The couple was married by Father Joseph McLaughlin, O.Praem. Josh works in Washington as the finance director for Friends for Harry Reid, the re-election campaign of Senator Harry Reid, Democrat of Nevada, who is the majority leader. He graduated from Villanova and has a master’s in political science from American University.

Matthew T. Kingston, DMD '92 opened a new dental practice in December 2010. Healthy Smiles Dental is located in Lancaster, PA. Matthew and his wife Claire reside just outside of Lancaster in Lititz, PA. They have two sons, Gray (age 7) and Adam (age 4) and are expecting their third child in late Fall 2011.

John David DeVido '94 and his wife Maureen welcomed their second child, Elizabeth Mary, on April 22, 2011.  She is joined by big brother T.J. (Thomas).

Jeffrey DeVido '96 and his wife Catherine welcomed a son, Jason, on September 18, 2010.  Both have also recently started their fourth year residencies in Boston, MA.

Brian Nagle '93 was elected President of the Chester County Bar Foundation. A Director of the firm and member of the Land Use department with the law firm of MacElree Harvey, Brian (pictured) will lead the charitable arm of the organization which provides funding and programs to schools and individual students.

Mike Matassino '92 married Jaime Hall on December 11th in Wilmington, DE at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church. The reception was held at The Patio. Matt Kingston '92, Tom Esposito'92 and Mike Logothetis '89 were part of the wedding party. Fellow alumni Mike DeMaio '92 and Emily Leach '01 were also in attendance. The couple, with their dog Mango, reside in Wilmington, DE. (See picture).
 
Hugh Leahy '97 and his wife Iveline Dimitrova celebrated their recent marriage with a reception on New Year's Day at the University & Whilst Club in Wilmington. The event was attended by several Archmere families including the Penza, Julian, Bacon, Campbell, Matthews, Menlla, Falgowski, and Manlove families (see picture). Hugh has been working abroad for Citigroup since 2006. From 2006-2007 he worked in Lisbon, Portugal where he met Ivelina. From 2008-2009 he worked in Prague, Czech Republic. Starting in 2010, he has been working in Manila, Phillippines where he and his wife currently reside. Hugh recently completed his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, having taken classes in Czech, Brazil and Pittsburgh.

Erin Barbacane Marcellus ’95 and her husband Jason welcomed a baby boy, Nolan Joseph, on January 14, 2011. He weighed 7lbs, 9oz and was 20 1/4 inches long. Nolan (see picture) is joined by big sister Delaney (5), and resides with his family in Limerick, PA.
 
Alison Paige Newitt '95 and her band, the Angel Band, will be performing on Saturday, March 19 at the Keswick Theater in Glenside, Pa., as part of the David Bromberg Big Band.To learn more about the band and it’s tour, go to www.angelband.net
 
Mary Beth Rim '95 directed a film starring her father and former Archmere football coach John Rim titled A Turn of the Blinds. A Turn of the Blinds is a product of Hamme Productions, of which Rim is the co-founder. The film has already been accepted to the Inaugural Film Festival in Green Bay in the end of February.

Marisa Facciolo ’93 recently took a new position as Vice President/Wealth Strategist for Northern Trust Company of Delaware working the New York to Washington, D.C. area. She currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Board for Serviam Girls Academy and she is a Guild Member for the Ministry of Caring. Outside of her volunteer work, Marisa is training for her third triathlon which will be in the Summer of 2011. Marisa resides in Wilmington, DE
 
Chris Pieretti ’94 and his wife, Timi, had their first child, a boy, named Cassidy Lee in December 7, 2010. The new little happy family lives just outside of Philadelphia where Chris works for Fresh Paint, as a painting contractor, and Kitchen Harvest, as a residential organic farmer.
 
Elizabeth Winslow King ’95, her husband Matthew and their two children Grace and Jack, recently moved back to Delaware after spending time in North Carolina and Connecticut. Beth is trust counsel for The Northern Trust Company of Delaware in Wilmington, and Matt is a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. They are expecting their third child in June, 2011.
 
Gene Cichanowsky ’95 and his wife Mandy welcomed a son (EJ, III) in January 2009, and are expecting another child at the end of April.
 
Drs. Robert Schmidt ’97 and Melanie Bolling Schmidt became the proud parents of their first son, Charles Jackson Schmidt on December 20, 2010. The family lives in Richmond, VA where Rob is completing a fellowship in facial plastic surgery.
