24th Annual Alumni Golf Outing

The 2011 Archmere Alumni Golf Outing was held at Edgmont Country Club in Newtown Square, PA on Friday, September 23. Though the weather was anything but cooperative during registration, the rain stopped in time for the 77 golfers who attended to head out onto the course at 1 p.m. and get in a full round of golf. A cocktail reception was held at the country club's banquet hall "The Rooftop" at 5:30 p.m., followed by a buffet dinner and awards program. Several alumni, current and former faculty and staff members of Archmere and of the Norbertine community attended the dinner as well, making the evening's total over 90 guests. This year's outing was made possible by the over 60 generous sponsors who purchased tee signs and sponsored everything from golf balls and registration to cocktails, dinner and beverage holes.
