Maddy Buckley '11 Named Liberty League Rookie of the Week

William Smith first-year Madeline Buckley (Archmere Class of 2011) was tabbed the Liberty League Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week this week as announced by the league office this afternoon.

William Smith first-year Madeline Buckley was tabbed the Liberty League Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week this week as announced by the league office this afternoon.

On Saturday, in a Liberty League match against Vassar, Buckley scored her first collegiate goal in the 36th minute off an assist from senior Whitney Frary. Buckley's goal proved to be the game-winner as the No. 2 Herons defeated the Brewers 1-0. William Smith improved to 12-0-1 and 6-0-0 in conference play, and earned its 12th shutout this fall.
