Archmere Heads to Volleyball Finals

Archmere will face 3rd-seed St. Mark's for the DIAA state volleyball championship Saturday.
It will be top-seed Archmere against 3rd-seed St. Mark's for the DIAA state volleyball championship after those two teams posted semi-final wins on Thursday.

"The opportunity Archmere Academy's five seniors have craved since they lost in the state final as freshmen, to return for another shot, came Thursday night, and the Auks didn't waste a moment seizing it." - The News Journal.

The Auks swept 4th-seed Padua, 3-0 while the Spartans downed number 2 seed Friends, 3-1. St. Mark's handed Archmere its only loss of the season. The championship is Sunday at the Bob Carpenter Center.
