Archmere Track Team Shined in Final Meet

On January 29, the track team competed in their final meet of the season at the University of Delaware with several outstanding performances. The team was led by Carly McGowan '12 who was the top scorer for the team this year. Carly ran in the 55 meter dash and the 55 meter hurdles placing in the top 5 in every meet. Other outstanding performers were Sarah Waldis, Luke Spoehr, Maurisa Iacono, Connell Donaghy, Mathew Oslin, Allison Short, John Mascioli, Katie Maure, Gillian Sweeny, and Ryan, Alex, Dave, and Nate Beatson. First-year throwers Emily Minner and Emily Rothenbacher finished the season with personal best in there respected throwing events.
