Archmere Places in TEAMS competition & Science Olympiad
Four teams of 8 students participated in the Test of Engineering Aptitude with Math and Science competition at the University of DE, with each team placing in the top four for their division. Two teams of 15 students participated in the DE State competition at Delaware State University, both placing in their divisions. Archmere students earned 19 medals out of the 23 events.
Last weekend, 4 teams of 8 students participated in the Test of Engineering Aptitude with Math and Science competition at the University of DE. There were two teams in the 9th and 10th grade division and two teams in the 11th and 12th grade divisions. Congratulations to the students who participated on those teams. The two 9th and 10th grade teams finished 2nd and 3rd in the state. The two 11th and 12th grade teams finished 3rd and 4th in the state.
On Saturday, two teams of 15 students participated in the DE state competition at Delaware State University. There were 60 teams at the event. Congratulations to the science olympiad team members for excellent team scores and some great individual event scores. The two teams finished 3rd and 4th in the state behind two tough teams from Charter. Archmere students earned medals in 19 out of the 23 events.
