Junior Career Day - Apirl 20, 2012

The Archmere Academy Alumni Association, with the College Counseling Office and Office of Institutional Advancement presented the 2012 Junior Career Day on April 20. Each junior had the opportunity to attend five different career workshops throughout the day, which they registered for ahead of time. Each session and speaker were recruited based on career interests expressed by the junior class in a survey given by the college counseling office at the beginning of the semester. Speakers represented a variety of career fields and professional backgrounds, from entrepreneurship, law and finance, to biochemistry and sports medicine, to entertainment marketing and fashion, to oceanography. Fourteen alumni came back to participate as career day speakers, including this year's keynote speaker, John Rollins '88, Owner & Operator of Delaware Diagnostic Group.
