Homecoming Reunions 2's & 7's

On Saturday, October 6th, we celebrated Homecoming 2012 at Archmere. After a beautiful Saturday afternoon and several challenging sports' games, Archmere alumni from classes ending in 2's and 7's gathered in The Patio for their reunions. The evening began at 6:00 p.m. with mass in the Student Life Center celebrated by Fr. McLaughlin and Fr. Tony Pileggi '87. The Blessing of the 80th Anniversary Mural immediately followed mass. The mural, created by Terry Newitt and several art students and alumni, depicts milestones, memories and influential members of the Archmere community. The celebrations continued on to The Patio for the reunion reception. About 300 Archmere alumni were in attendance. The graduates from each class enjoyed reminicing with one another, exploring The Patio, and gathering for class photos in The Patio Library.
