Steven DiStefano '14 Commits to Ursinus Baseball

Archmere senior and Hockessin native Steven DiStefano has committed to Ursinus College to play pitcher for the Grizzly Bears’ baseball team. Steven has been awarded a four-year scholarship as an Ursinus Scholar.
Archmere senior and Hockessin native Steven DiStefano has committed to Ursinus College to play pitcher for the Grizzly Bears’ baseball team. Steven has been awarded a four-year scholarship as an Ursinus Scholar.

Recently selected as a 2014 Under Armour Pre-Season All-American baseball player, Steven will be pitching in the All-American Pre-Season Tournament in Tucson, Arizona in January, 2014 representing his region and competing against other top players throughout the country.
 
In July 2014, Steven will be representing the United States while playing baseball with Old World Baseball. He will travel for two weeks to several countries throughout Western and Central Europe competing against top-ranked national European baseball teams.
 
In addition to his successful athletic career, the junior-year transfer to Archmere is an academically strong student, enrolled in honors and AP classes. Steven plans to pursue a major in the field of science with focus on pre-med studies.
