AUK Talks - January 16, 2014

On Thursday, January 16th, Archmere Academy and the Archmere Academy Alumni Association launched the AUK Talk Speaker Series. Modeled after the innovative and popular "Ted Talks" this series is exclusive to members of the Archmere community and offers thought-provoking speakers and opportunities for networking. The inaugural event focused on " Thoughts on Leadership" and speakers included Paul Pomeroy, Jr, former Teacher, Coach, Admissions Director, and Principal of Archmere Academy and Terri Kelly, President & CEO of W.L. Gore & Associates and current Archmere parent. The program also offered valuable networking opportunities for the attendees. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive from our 80+ attendees and we hope to host another AUK Talk event in the Spring.
