Archmere's Olsen '14 Named WDEL HS Athlete of the Week
Archmere Academy multi-sport athlete Amanda Olsen is this week's M&T Bank / WDEL High School Athlete of the Week. Olsen stars on the Auks' volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse teams, and says while she respects athletes who focus on one sport, that's not her style.
"I love playing three sports because as I love playing basketball, I love mixing it up a little playing volleyball and lacrosse. I'm probably going to play basketball and lacrosse in college, I love being busy."

Amanda has committed to play at Division III Catholic University next year, and says there are differences between the similar sports.
"Some people say that lacrosse and basketball are kind of the same thing with one having a stick and one has a ball. But basketball is my favorite because you're constantly running up and down the court, and that's my favorite thing to do."
