Archmere Freshmen Place at 2014 Delaware Concerto Competition for Young Musicians

Archmere freshman Conor McAvinue won first in the 13 to 15 age division of the 2014 Delaware Concerto Competition for Young Musicians. He played the viola and performed the Hoffmeister Concerto in D Major: I. Allegro. Fellow Archmere freshman and cello player Daniel Kim was named the runner-up for 13 to 15 age division.

The winners of the DCCYM will perform with the Wilmington Community Orchestra on Friday, May 16 at 7:30pm at the Tatnall School in Wilmington.
