Spring Sports Highlights in the News: Girls' Soccer, Boys' Baseball

This past week, the Girls' Soccer team made News Journal headlines with their 1-0 victory over Wilmington Friends on Tuesday. From the News Journal: "
Archmere's defense – led by Sullivan Boulden, Laura Jogani, Allison Sullivan and Leah DaCosta – kept the Quakers from getting a shot. When the Auks got the wind at their backs in the second half, those defenders started pushing into the attack.
'In the first half, we were just trying to keep them in front of us and not let them shoot on us,' Boulden said. 'In the second half, we definitely used the wind to our advantage.'" To read the full story, click here.

In baseball news, Archmere senior Kevin Reardon's 3-run homer capped off a 7-run 4th inning as the Auks picked up a 14-7 victory over Delaware Military Academy Thursday evening. Click here to watch and read highlights from the game on WDEL.
