Archmere Junior Receives National Catholic Youth Ministry Award

Jack Dianastasis '15 will be receiving a national award from Catholic Youth Ministry called the St. Timothy National Award, at their annual dinner at Dover Downs this month.

Jack was nominated for the award through his efforts as a CCD teaching assistant of the 8th-grade class at St. Joseph’s on the Brandywine parish, which he has been doing almost every Sunday morning since September 2013.  The St. Timothy National Youth Award is the highest recognition from the NFCYM for a diocese to confer to a junior or senior high school youth who lives as a disciple of Christ, sets a positive example for other youth, witnesses to their faith by exhibiting Catholic morals and integrity, demonstrates Gospel values through service to others, and exhibits Christian leadership in parish, school, and/or community settings.
