Sean Deely '14 Lifts No. 5 Auks to Victory With Two-Run Blast in the 6th

Archmere senior and starting pitcher Sean Deely came through both on the mound and in the batter's box as the fifth-ranked Auks defeated Hodgson, 3-2 on Saturday. Deely pitched a complete game, demonstrating pinpoint command through all seven frames as he held the Silver Eagles to just two runs on six hits while striking out ten. Deely also had a monster day at the plate, going 2 for 2 with a homerun, 2 RBI, and a walk. Archmere baseball (10-2) will look to continue their three-game winning streak Tuesday when they face Tatnall (9-4).
