Freshman Conor McAvinue '17 Awarded Merit Scholarship from The Music School of Delaware

Violinist/violist Conor McAvinue '17 was named one of fifteen recipients of the 2014-2015 Merit Scholarship, awarded by The Music School of Delaware annually to outstanding student musicians who auditioned before the school's judges.
Conor, who is actively involved in Archmere's music program and is a member of the Liturgy Music group, will be recognized at the Merit Scholarship Awards Recital & Ceremony, which will be held on Wednesday, May 28, at 6 p.m., in the Music School Concert Hall. He has also been invited to perform on viola for the Recital portion of the evening, which features seven of this year's scholarship winners.
