Student Volunteers "Clean the Coast"

On Saturday, September 20, 14 students took time out of their weekend to volunteer for the "Coastal Cleanup" at Fox Point State Park in Wilmington, DE, with Ecology Club moderator, Mr. Bill Mulhearn. One of the student volunteers, senior Lexi Fields, said that the project was like a "religious experience - a peaceful treasure hunt in an undiscovered park on a beautiful day." The group hopes to spend another day in the near future doing something similar at Bellevue State Park.
