Archmere Runner Named State Champion, Teams Fare Well in Tournament

The cross country team competed in the DIAA State Championship Meet on Saturday, November 8. The girls' team placed 4th in Division II and the boys finished third. Archmere senior Colleen Carney was named a State Champion after winning the Division II race. Colleen is the first girl to this for the Auks in 28 years. Seniors captains Eddie Leonard and Luke Jordan who medaled and placed 10th and 14th, respectively, in the boys race.
