Claire Caverly '15 Division Winner in MTNA Senior Voice Competition

Archmere Senior and Mastersinger soprano Claire Caverly won the eastern division in the Music Teachers National Association Senior Voice Competition. The three-tiered competition starts at the state level and moves to the division competition. Division winners proceed onto the National Competition Finals. Claire will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, this spring to compete as a National Finalist. 

Claire has won other singing awards including first place in the National Association of Teachers of Singing student auditions and was selected to attend the 2014 Washington National Opera Institute. Claire has been studying voice for the past one and a half years. She is currently a student of Mary Ellen Schauber.

The Senior Voice Competition will take place on Sunday, March 22, during the MTNA National Conference.
