Field Hockey Wins Big Over Concord

In the first offical game of the season, the Archmere Field Hockey team coasted past Concord with a score of 7-0. Junior Leah DaCosta '17 scored three goals and junior Lorin Donovan '17 helped boost the Lady Auks to their big win with three assists.

Delaware Preps reports: While the Auks only led 1 – 0 at halftime on a Kennedy Murphy goal just over ten minutes into the game, the scoring barrage occurred in the second half. Goals from #17 Sarah Bunting, the three from #15 Leah DaCosta, one more from #6 Murphy and the last one from #10 Presley Conaty all added up to a convincing first game victory. #12 Delaney Dearing and DaCosta each had one assist to add, as well as Donovan’s three.
