On Saturday afternoon Archmere took on an undefeated DMA football team and made headlines with a 17-2 win, boosting their own record to 5-4. It was Archmere's defense that commanded the game at Baynard Stadium, leaving DMA's offense scoreless, while intercepting five passes. With the win, Archmere now improves to 7-0 all-time against DMA.
Nick Udovich, Archmere’s linebacker stated to WDEL, “we just pride ourselves on being a good defensive team; early on in the year we were giving up too many points, we brought it together and executed.”
Archmere will play at home against St. Elizabeth next Saturday at 2pm.
