Archmere Critics Team Receives Honors
The Cappies, "Critics and Awards Program," is a program through which high school theatre and journalism students are trained as critics, attend shows at other schools, write reviews, and publish those reviews in local newspapers such as The Washington Post, Cincinnati Enquirer, Dallas Morning News, Kansas City Star, and The Philadelphia Inquirer.
This month, the Archmere critics team consisting of Catherine Lawless '17, Lea Harlev '18, Maureen Tibbetts '17, Jennifer Cirillo '17, and Matthew Etzrodt '17 traveled to Unionville HS to see their production of You Can't Take it With You. Of the twenty critics, three Archmere students were ranked and two were published in both local newspapers and on the Cappies website. Maureen Tibbetts and Lea Harlev received top honors and Matt Etzrodt's review was published.
