Caroline Quinn '17 Grants a Princess Wish
Three year old Maddy O’Malley, who is suffering from leukemia, wanted to come to the Walnut Street Theatre to see the musical Shrek this fall, but her parents knew that with her compromised immune system, crowds are off limits for Maddy. Maddy also had a wish to meet Princess Fiona. Her parents asked the theatre personnel if Maddy could meet Princess Fiona privately after a performance. Caroline Quinn '17, who played Princess Fiona in the production, was humbled by the request. Caroline remained in character throughout her meeting with Maddy and also presented her with a princess necklace.
