Sully Boulden '16 Signs Letter of Intent to Play Soccer at College of William and Mary
Sullivan (Sully) Boulden, senior at Archmere Academy, signed her letter of intent to join the College of William and Mary’s soccer team on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. A member of the All - Conference and All - State soccer teams since her freshman season, Sully was also recently named this year’s Student Ambassador for the upcoming Archmere Sports Hall of Fame Banquet.
During her Archmere career, Sully received accolades each year for soccer. Every season since freshman year, Sully has been named First Team All - Conference. As a freshman, she was also named Third Team All - State and post season received the Rising Star Award. Her sophomore year she helped the Auks reach the state finals and was awarded Second Team All - State. Both her sophomore and junior years Sully was awarded Archmere’s Outstanding Player recognition. With a return to the semifinals for the team, Sully received First Team All - State her junior year. In her last three seasons, Sully has helped the Archmere Academy soccer team amass a 44 - 7 - 1 record, three Diamond State Conference championships, along with Division II state semi - finalist and state finalist rankings.
In addition to high school soccer, Sully has also played for nationally ranked club teams. From 2011-2014 Sully played for Delaware Rush. With the Rush, she was a team captain and was named to the National Rush Select Team in 2014. Last year she joined the Football Club of Philadelphia, currently ranked #10 nationally on GotSoccer.com, where she continues to play. Sully trains at Lightcap Fitness Studio. Outside of soccer, Sully has participated on the varsity swim team at Archmere Academy. She is also a member of both the Ecology and Spanish Clubs, as well as a member of the National Honors Society and Spanish Honors Society. In her free time she volunteers at the SPCA of Philadelphia.
Sully is a resident of Wilmington, Delaware and attended Immaculate Heart of Mary elementary school. She plans on majoring in pre-law and minoring in psychology.
