Keelin Reilly '17 and Claire Caverly '15 Win Awards At Singing Competition

The National Association of Teachers of Singing celebrates the art of singing through a series of competitions and programs that are designed to showcase the talented singers and performers who are soon to be rising stars in the profession. Events are held annually or biennially, many in conjunction with the NATS National Conference. On March 11-13th, the NATS Eastern Region Conference and student auditions were held at Montclair State University. Archmere student Keelin Reilly '17 won first place for Upper High School Men and second place for Upper High School Men Music Theater. He won a cash award and the opportunity to participate in the National Student Auditions. If his You Tube submission passes a first round, he will compete live this summer in Chicago for the National Prize.

Archmere alum Claire Caverly '15, a freshman at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, won second place awards in both classical and music theater divisions. Both are students of Mary Ellen Schauber, and coached by Chris McCloskey.
