Boys' Cross Country Takes 3rd in the State
On November 7th at Killens Pond State Park, the Archmere Boys' Cross Country team earned third place in Division II at the DIAA Cross Country State Championship. With a combined score of 149 points, Archmere had two boys break the 17 minute mark. Danny Storm '21 came in 11th place with a time of 16:48.15 and captain Seth Bale '19 came in 14th place, with a time of 16:57.08. The boys' team improved their results over last year, where they placed 10th in the State Championships.
The girls' team came in 7th place with 185 combined points. The teams are coached by Archmere Principal John Jordan '80, English teacher Karen Linton, Beth Malseed '06, Physics teacher Kevin Seltzer '10, and Josh Alcorn '99.
