Archmere Soccer Wins Diamond State Athletic Conference Championship

The boys soccer team took on Newark Charter on October 26th, defeating them 1-0 and also taking ownership of the Diamond State Athletic Conference Championship title. The Auks, now with an undefeated 14-0 record, had ten shots to Newark Charter's two, and six corner kicks. Senior Andrew Rosenbaum scored the winning goal for the Archmere team with an assist from junior Sam Gattuso. The win secured the Diamond State Athletic Conference Championship and with it an automatic bid to the Division II State Tournament for the Auks.

They play Salesianum today at Hockessin Soccer at 3:45pm.
