Digital Testing Webinar - Last week’s webinar by Compass Education Group on the new SAT digital testing format was well attended by sophomore and first-year families (the groups first to be impacted by the change). A video of the program will be emailed out at the end of the week.

Individual Class News
Seniors: We’ve reached a semi lull in decisions until mid-March. We highly recommend that families begin to, or finalize, their spring visits to attend accepted student days. While there may be more invitations to come with regular decision releases, reserve your spaces and have travel plans with what you know. College Counseling is available to discuss decisions, be a sounding board for students contemplating their options, and discuss financial aid awards. We are still processing scholarship application requests, and an occasional transcript request.
Juniors: We’ve opened the Junior Family Meeting calendar. As a reminder this meeting must occur during a students free period or after school. At least one parent or guardian must attend in-person or virtually.
In this week’s College Seminar class we discussed making the most out of college visits. We shared recommendations about what to do before, during, and after visits to maximize the return. We also pulled up a college’s visit page and noticed that one of the dates during the Archmere Spring Break was filled and closed - please be sure to schedule those Spring Break trips visits well in advance!
First Year/Sophomores: Always welcome questions, emails, and student inquiries. Please know that you’re never bother us! Questions are speed bumps, they slow us down - we want to help you progress with accurate answers and good information.
Important Staff Information
While no surprise, we’d like to share that Mrs. Reigner will be out on maternity leave starting Friday, March 10th until the end of July. Communications will be shared with the junior and senior classes, and their families, about who to reach out to during her time away. We’re excited for Mrs. Reigner and her husband Paul to welcome their first child. Please join us in praying for their health and happiness during this exciting time.
