Winter Athletes, Coaches Earn Conference, All-State Awards

Congratulations to all of our winter athletes who were named to the Diamond State All-Conference teams and the All-State teams. Archmere team accolades also include the Diamond State Athletic Conference Championship title for the girls basketball team and Diamond State Conference Coach of the Year for girls basketball coach Dan Pisani. Archmere junior Lucy Oliver was named the Diamond State Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Year.

Indoor Track Honors:
 
After an incredibly successful season, the girls ended the indoor track season with a 5th place finish, the best finish in program history. The boys ended the indoor track season in 11th place, also the highest in program history.
 
State Championship scoring individuals for the girls:
  • Maddie Priest finished 2nd in the 400m with a time of 59.95, breaking the school record. She also placed 4th in the 1600m with a time of 5:15.48
  • Alanah Weaver placed 3rd in the Shot Put, with a mark of 35-7 improving upon her indoor school record
  • Jane Willin placed 5th in the High Jump, clearing 4-10
  • Gia Giorgianni placed 8th in the High Jump, clearing 4-8
  • Helen Socorso placed 7th in the 800m, with a time of 2:30.52
  • The 4x800m ran 10:55.36 to finish 7th. The team consisted of Bella Doncel, Sophia Tobin, Peyton Bale and Ella Taggart
  • The 4x400m ran a season best of 4:23.18 to finish 7th. The relay consisted of Gabby Henry, Lyla Bell, Maddie Priest and Helen Socorso.
State Championship scoring Individuals for the boys:
  • The 4x800m placed 2nd with a time of 8:28, lowering the school record by 16 seconds. The team was made up of Julian Facciolo, Richie Angiullo, Camilo Alvarez and Nick Donelson.
  • Jack Maister finished 4th in the long jump and 7th in the 55m
  • Gavin Lee finished 6th in the 400m with a time of 52.09
  • Matt Guarinao broke the school record in the 55m Hurdles
  • Nick Donelson finished 7th in the 800m with a time of 2:05.82
