Seniors Chris Albero, Nate Morda and Kieran Udovich Named to Blue/Gold All Star Football Roster

The Blue-Gold All Star Football Game Committee of the Delaware Foundation Reaching Citizens with Intellectual Disabilities recently announced the players for the 67th Annual All Star Football Game. Archmere seniors Chris Albero, Nate Morda, and Kieran Udovich were included in this year’s roster. Chris, Nate and Kieran were nominated by their coaches and selected based on their character and football ability. The game will feature 72 of Delaware’s top seniors playing their final high school game at 7 p.m. June 16 at Delaware Stadium.
The Blue-Gold High School participants play a vital role in the success the DFRC Blue-Gold program and in the DFRC mission to enrich the lives of Delawareans with intellectual disabilities. Many of the students take part in a Hand-in-Hand program where they are matched with children and young adults, the Buddies, to share their Blue-Gold experience leading up to Game Day. Each month leading up to Game Day, there are statewide organized events - a dance party, a bowling outing, a picnic - and the Participants and Buddies often get together between events to see a movie, go to a school event, or just talk and hang out.
The 67th DFRC Blue-Gold All Star Football Game will take place on Saturday, June 16, 2023 at Delaware Stadium, with kickoff at 6 p.m. The game and all of the events surrounding it benefit the Delaware Foundation Reaching Citizens with intellectual disabilities. Over the years, the Blue-Gold game has raised more than $6 million.
Opening ceremonies will begin at 6. For more tickets and more information, go to or call (302) 454-2730.
