Girls Track and Field Take Home DSAC Championship; Boys Place 2nd

The Diamond State Athletic Conference Track and Field Championships were held on Monday, May 1 at the Charter School of Wilmington. For the second year in a row, the Archmere girls team took home the title with 187 points. The boys finished 2nd in the DSAC and look to improve upon both individual and team finishes next year as they return the majority of the team.

  • Maddie Priest '24 - 800m, 1600m
  • Gabby Henry '23 - 100m
  • Icyss Hitchens - 110m Hurdles
  • Ella Harshyne - 300m Hurdles
  • Jane Willin '24 - High Jump, Triple Jump
  • Alanah Weaver '23 - Discus

Boys 1st Place Finishes:
  • Owen Parsons '26 - 3200m
  • Jack Maister '24 - Long Jump
  • Patch Shields '23 - Discus
  • 4x200m - Matt Guariano '24, Bobby McLaughlin '24, Nick Donelson '23, Gavin Lee '24
The team is getting ready to compete in the New Castle County Championships on May 12 and 13, and the State Championships the weekend of May 19 and 20 in Dover.
