Cross Country Team Competes in Unionville Two Mile Bash

Last weekend our cross country runners successfully opened their season in Kennett Square at the Unionville Two Mile Bash. The 5th annual run was held at Unionville High School and includes races for each grade, with both overall results and results by graduation year. The Archmere girls team finished third behind some of the top teams in Pennsylvania. The boys team finished 12th with three runners recording times under 11 minutes. The Archmere girls competed against 38 other schools, and the boys ran against 40 different high schools.
Individually, Maddie Priest '24 recorded an impressive race, placing 12th overall out of almost 500 runners and finishing sixth 6th overall for 12th grade girls. For the boys team, Richie Angiullo '25, Camilo Alvarez '24 and Owen Parsons '26 all recorded times under 11 minutes.
Next Up: Tri-Meet with Caravel Academy and Wilmington Friends at Bellevue State Park on September 19th.
