Giovanna Clemente '26 Competes in International Jiu-Jitsu Competition

In July, Archmere sophomore Giovanna Clemente competed in the 2023 Pan Kids, known as the most premier youth jiu-jitsu tournament in the world. With an astounding 2,700 competitors ranging from the Mighty Mite to the Teen divisions, the event was a testament to the growing popularity of jiu-jitsu among youth. The international tournament was held over three days at the Silver Spurs Area in Kissimmee, Florida. Giovanna competed in the Teen division, placing second overall. Her team is affiliated with Logic, and she trains under Tiger Kang MMA.
