84th Archmere Academy Commencement Exercises

Archmere Academy welcomed 135 alumni into its ranks during Commencement ceremonies on June 3 in the school’s performing arts center. Bishop Malooly presided. Lauren Chua was the Valedictorian, and Alisa Yakovenko the Salutatorian. 
 
The winner of the Archmere Medal, the school’s most prestigious award given annually to the student whom the faculty believes best exemplifies the ideals and values of Archmere, was Joseph DiGregorio. The school’s second highest honor, the Activities Medal, which recognizes service and participation, was awarded to Alisa Yakovenko.
 
Departmental honors went to Joseph DiGregorio and Madyson McDougal, Theology; Madison Larmore, English and History; Natasha Gengler, Science; Alisa Yakovenko, Mathematics; Alexander Gulea, Computer Science; Lauren Chua, French and Art; Anna Martino, Chinese; Danielle Cuoco, Music Medal for Vocal Presentation; Patrick Kelly, Music Medal for Instrumental Presentation; Helen Laster, Technology; Giavanna Mariano, Medal of Excellence in Drama; Riley Beck, Christian Service Medal. Sydney Yanick won the Women’s Athletics Medal, and Dominic Cipriano won for Men’s Athletics.
