Terry Newitt To Exhibit Artwork at A.I. duPont Children's Hospital

Archmere Academy's Art Teacher, Mr. Terry Newitt, currently has a display of 35 watercolors and acrylics at the A.I. duPont Hospital until September 1st. The exhibit is on the 3 floors of gallery space in the children's hospital.

Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report for being among the best children’s health systems in the nation. Nemours ranks in all ten specialties: cancer, cardiology & heart surgery, diabetes & endocrinology, gastroenterology & GI surgery, neonatology, neurology & neurosurgery, nephrology, orthopedics, pulmonology and urology. 

Terry Newitt earned a Master's Degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and teaches Art at Archmere Academy. He has also taught at the Delaware College of Art and Design, the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts. His work has been included in many private collections, including that of former Vice President Joseph Biden. He has exhibited in group exhibitions at Art Expo (New York), the Delaware Art Museum, the University of the Arts, the Delaware College of Art and Design, the University of Delaware, Immaculata University, and more. He has won numerous regional awards for his paintings.
