Hunter Rzaca '19 Named to Delaware Community Foundation's Youth Philanthropy Board

The Delaware Community Foundation’s Youth Philanthropy Boards, one in each of Delaware’s three counties, are composed of students from public, independent and diocesan high schools throughout the state. Archmere senior Hunter Rzaca was recently named to the Board. Every year, each YPB receives an amount of money to give to charitable organizations. Together, they develop a focus area, solicit applications, conduct site visits and award grants. Hunter will learn about philanthropy and effective grantmaking, study youth issues in neighborhoods and schools, solicit grant proposals, conduct site visits, and award grants to those determined to be most deserving.

The Delaware Community Foundation manages charitable funds for individuals, families, businesses and organizations, and distributes income from the funds as grants to humanitarian, educational, health and cultural entities throughout the First State.
