Cate Brown '20 and Marissa Quercetti '21 Raise Money for Go 4 the Goal

For the month of September, varsity football team managers Cate Brown '20 and Marissa Quercetti '21 spearheaded a fundraiser for the foundation Go 4 the Goal. They provide financial support to families of children who are battling cancer. Along with the help from the Archmere cheerleaders, they provided the team with gold laces to be worn as a show of support and also raised over $400 at the home game against Conrad on September 15th.

Families, caregivers, charities and research groups across the United States observe September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. In the U.S., 15,780 children under the age of 21 are diagnosed with cancer every year; approximately 1/4 of them will not survive the disease.
