Terry Newitt To Exhibit Artwork at Hardcastle Art Gallery

Artwork by Archmere Art Teacher Mr. Terry Newitt has been chosen to be featured at the Hardcastle Fine Art Gallery this fall. The Gallery will welcome four Brandywine Valley noted and popular artists, including Mr. Newitt, on Friday, October 4th, 2019, for an exciting exhibit of unique and wonderful original paintings and sculptures. 

The Artists and their bio’s (from the Hardcastle website) are:

Terry Newitt, a revered artist and influential art teacher, will be showing his much sought after and exciting paintings, with their very recognizable style. His paintings are in many private and corporate collections. Terry has taught for many year at Archmere Academy, and also at the Delaware College of Art and Design, and at the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts. Terry was awarded Delaware Art Educator of the Year in 2004.
 
Kathy Ruck, one of the region's most prolific and popular artists, will be displaying her beautiful landscape and still life paintings, in watercolor and other media. Her work is prized in numerous private and corporate collections. Kathy is also a past president of the Delaware Foundation for the Visual Arts. 

Lele Galer produces beautiful paintings and steel sculpture, working out of her studio in Chester County, in West Chester. Not only her art work, but her communication skills via radio, newspaper, and lecturing, all in the interest of art, are indicative of a true renaissance woman. Lele also owns and runs Galer Estate Winery in Kennett Square.

Michael Brock will have a collection of paintings on exhibit which will include dramatic wildlife, still life and landscape oil paintings. Michael's work is in many private and corporate collections including the White House. Michael is a past president of the Delaware Foundation for the Visual Arts Michael was also inducted into the Delaware Aviation Hall of Fame in 2006.
