9th Grade Math League Moves On To Elite 8 Bracket
The Archmere 9th Grade Math Team placed 2nd in the state and moves on to the Elite 8, a bracket tournament over the next 3 weeks. This year they participated in four online, statewide meets - a different format from previous years.
The 9th Grade Math League members include Alicia Chu (23rd), Michelle Zhang, Nick Mowbray and Kaia Yalamanchili.
Sophia Chen secured 1st place and Gavin Nguyen placed 6th in the state individually. All six members of the team placed in the top 50%.
