Anna Garcia '21 Scores Four Goals as Girls Soccer Defeats Wilmington Friends
Archmere senior and Lafayette College soccer recruit Anna Garcia scored four goals and "was a thorn in the Quakers’ side all afternoon" as the Auks notched a 7-1 win against Wilmington Friends on April 19th. Emma Gioffre '23, Christina Rosenbaum '23 and Julianna Witherell '24 also added a goal each.
The Auks outshot the Quakers, 13-5, and had five corner kicks to four for Wilmington Friends. Abby Jones '21 had four saves. Archmere, now 2-1, will play at Red Lion on Wednesday at 3:45 p.m.
