Math League Heads into Playoffs

Archmere's 10-12th grade Math League team played in 4 rounds of online competition, from November to January, winning matches against Odessa High, Tower Hill, St. Andrews and Charter School of Wilmington. The last match ended in a 26 to 26 tie, with Archmere earning a lower top 5 average time! The team ranks 2nd in the state at the end of the Scrimmage Phase, and now heads into 3 weeks of playoffs.
Eleven students rank in the top 50 in the state for the 10-12 team, with Nick Zhu in 2nd place, Alex Chen in 4th place, Leo Chang in 9th, Sophia Chen in 13th, Joe Caruso in 22nd, and Simi Edeki, Andy Zhu and Helen Qi rounding out our top 11.  
 
The Archmere 9th grade Math League team finished 4 rounds of competition, beginning in November up through last week, and finished 7th in the state! Four of the team members, Ben Li, Arlene Chiu, Daniel Maceda, and Zimo Liu, rank within the top 50 players in the state. Over the next three weeks, our team will compete in the playoffs with other top teams in the state.
