AP Capstone Classes Spend the Day at University of Delaware

Archmere Academy offers special programs to students each year. Among those programs is the AP Capstone, which consists of AP Seminar and AP Research. The students analyze a wide variety of source material to gain a rich appreciation and understanding of issues, and work collaboratively with a team to identify, investigate, analyze, and evaluate an academic or real-world problem.

This week, the AP Capstone classes, supervised by Mr. Dougherty and Ms. Witte, took an academic excursion to the University of Delaware’s Morris Library to learn about research resources and strategies from the university librarians. The students spent the day on campus, even running into several Archmere alumni who shared their collegiate experiences.
