Archmere Welcomes New Boys Head Coach to the Soccer Program

Archmere announced this week a new Head Coach for the Boys Soccer Team, Joe Manlove. Joe has spent the last 20 years coaching soccer in Delaware in various forms, including high school, club, and ODP teams. After 10 years as a member of the Archmere Boys Soccer staff from 2003-2011, Joe made the move to A.I. du Pont to take over as Head Coach. After 10 seasons at the helm of A.I., he made a move from Head Coach at A.I. to Varsity Assistant Coach at Salesianum.  
Joe spent the past 2 seasons working with their varsity program and was part of back-to-back State Championship teams. Outside of the high school world, Joe is a soccer coach with Concord Soccer in North Wilmington and took over as their club’s Director of Coaching in 2022. Joe holds a USSF National C License and he has also served 6 years as President of the Delaware High School Soccer Coaches Association, overseeing preseason and postseason coaches meeting along with the All-State Banquet. Joe also teaches American History and Economics at AI. du Pont High School.
